Daniel Thomas is a freelance book editor with fourteen years in the trade, first inside two independent literary imprints and, since 2016, in private practice with authors across literary fiction, thrillers, memoir, and long-form non-fiction.
The work is quiet by design. Manuscripts arrive under NDA, are read three times, and are returned with tracked changes and an editorial letter that explains the reasoning behind every note. Nothing is billed by the hour; nothing is shared without permission; nothing is edited around your voice.
